Anne Burton, MD is a Kentucky native.

Dr. Burton received her Undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University in 1982. She worked as a Quantitative Analytical Chemist in the coal industry. Also she had two daughters, Aime & Stacy.

She received her Doctorate in Medicine from University of Louisville School of Medicine, Class of 1996. Dr. Burton completed medical training with the University of Kentucky Family Practice Residency- Southeast., 1999.

Dr. Burton Has served as a Primary Care Physician, Hospitalist, Urgent Treatment Physician and Emergency Department Physician in several rural and urban Kentucky locations.

She has more than 15 years practice experience with some of Kentucky's most complicated Geriatric and Pediatric populations. She is also qualified to medically treat individuals addicted to opiates.

Dr Burton shares an Adair County home and a blessed marriage with her husband, Mr. Sherman Wayne Burton, a Columbian businessman, who is well known for his integrity. They also share several, wonderful grandchildren, and greatly enjoy the inspiring naturescapes and abundant wildlife in their backyard at Notrub (no' troub) farm.
